We wanted to give you all an update on our time at the fair so far. We have met so many people – it’s been super! Some of you are friends already, either in person or online. Many are new to us and we are so happy to meet you and we want to thank you for trying our honey! Hope you enjoy it and then let us now. 🙂
Sales have been steady though today it was slow most of the time. We had spells of bustling activity, especially late in the evening. Though it is fun to meet new friends and talk bees and honey, it’s nice when 10pm rolls around and we can load up the bees and head home. The traffic is a bit crazy out there, so be careful. The parking lot next to the carnival is rather dark so poor Mark banged his knee good when he walked me to my car and hit a trailer hitch. 😦
We are almost out of everything even after we carried three extra cases in today. Well my honey did; I showed up with breakfast tacos from Las Palmas. Nice. If you want some honey, tomorrow’s the last day of the fair and it’s free for everyone – no excuse to stay home if you want to check some things out. I told Mark we should probably think about putting aside our personal stash of honey before our final event at the October 23 Trade Day on the square. Honestly, I don’t want to think about the winter without enough mesquite honey for myself!
